Shipping and Return Policy

Thanks for choosing buyroms! We take great care to get your CD to you safely and quicly. Here's the rundown on our shipping process: 

All CDs are shipping via USPS. $5 for the first CD. Additional CDs cost just $1 per item—so grab a few!

  • Your CD will be safely tucked inside a protective plastic sleeve to keep it looking pristine.

  • For orders of up to 4 CDs, we ship in a bubble mailer for extra protection. 

  •  If you’re ordering more than 4 CDs, we’ll send them in a box.

Shipping Times

We aim to ship your order within 3 business days after it’s placed—quick and easy!


Once it’s in the hands of USPS, the delivery time is up to them, so please be patient!


Shipping times vary depending on where you’re located, so please allow for that variability.

US Domestic Shipping Only

For now, we’re keeping it domestic—only shipping within the United States. Stay tuned for future expansions!

Return Policy

We take pride in accurately describing and curating our collection of vintage CDs. Because of the nature of our products, we do not accept blanket returns. However, we understand that special circumstances may arise, and we’re here to make things right when they do.

Eligible Return Circumstances

We only accept returns under the following conditions:

    1    Significantly Different from Listing: If the item you receive is substantially different from its description or photos in the listing (e.g., incorrect title, missing artwork, or wrong edition).
    2    Defective Item: If the CD is unplayable due to damage that was not disclosed in the listing.
    3    Incorrect Item Received: If you received an item that was not part of your order.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

    •    CDs with minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., light scratches on cases) that were disclosed in the listing.
    •    Items damaged after delivery due to misuse, improper handling, or accidents.
    •    Home-burned CD-Rs or other non-original formats.

How to Request a Return

If your situation meets one of the eligible return circumstances above, please follow these steps:
    •    Contact Us: Reach out to us at [email protected] within 7 days of receiving your order. Include:
    •    Your order number.
    •    A detailed explanation of the issue.
    •    Photos of the item showing the discrepancy or damage.
    •    Approval: Once we review your request and confirm eligibility, we’ll provide instructions for returning the item.

Refunds

    •    Refunds will be issued only after we receive and inspect the returned item.
    •    Refunds will be processed within 7 business days and issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
    •    If preferred, we can issue store credit instead of a refund.

Shipping Costs

    •    If the return is approved due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective item), we will cover return shipping costs.
    •    For all other approved returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Damaged Items in Transit

If your item was damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Include photos of the packaging and damaged item so we can resolve the issue promptly.
